The visitor centre is placed on the main street of Locana, right in the historic centre, within the evocative desecrate church of San Francesco. The exhibition path links the ancient crafts of the valleys in the Piedmont side of the park, in particular the chimney sweeper, with the new crafts linked to the hydroelectric plants. In the inside an alpine domestic environment has been restored where fresh milk was turned into butter and cheese, in the main living room has been placed an animated theatre that tells the chimney sweeper life.[/collapse]

The structure doesn't have a dedicated parking area, so there aren't either reserved for disabled. We suggest to inform about your arrival to obtain a comfortable and convenient parking space. [/collapse]

[collapse title=Entrance]

The entrance to the structure is at street level and overlooks on the main street. There are no obstacles of any kind; it's a push-to-open double door entrance with anti-panic handle. The entrance width is wide in order to permit a wheelchair to enter; the moving spaces inside and outside of the entrance is comfortable. The flooring is in stone slabs.

The counter is not equipped to serve a disabled person, because of heights and signage, but there are no obstacles that wouldn't allow using it in any way.[/collapse]

[collapse title=Exhibition space] 

The exhibition of the visitor centre is at the ground floor. It is well equipped for wheelchairs regarding to heights, spaces and dimensions. There isn't a visio-tactile map for orienteering through the route. The flooring is in stone slabs. [/collapse]

[collapse title=Hygienic service]

Next to the biggest room of the permanent exhibition a dedicated bathroom for disabled is placed included in the hygienic services block. The bathroom is totally accessible for internal measures, sanitary typology and aids. Flooring is made of ceramic panels. There are no aids or tactile paths for impaired people. [/collapse]
