Excursions with the Interpreters

A quiet and safe way to move in the nature to discover the Park area is to make an excursion with the help of a Park professional. The people in charge of the suggested activities are the "Official and exclusive Park interpreters".
They are nature escorts specialized in guiding visitors in this large protected area. Their task is to let you know the various aspects of the Park environment. This professional position was set up under the Framework Law on Protected Areas no. 394 of 1991.
These new professionals, skilled and specialized on the Alpine environment and in particular on the protected area, can plan activities while taking into accounts the visitor’s needs and interests with respect to themes, locations, type of services offered and suggested schedule.
They can accompany you in every season, on paths accessible to anyone, always ensuring maximum safety.
If you want to climb a glacier or face a rocky wall, contact the Alpine guides.

To reserve the activities suggested by the Interpreters, the following is necessary:
1. Consider the proposals drafted by the Guides
2. Contact directly a Park interpreter(English speaking) from the list, selecting him/her based on his/her availability and proposals.

The following is necessary to make an excursion:
- backpack
- climbing shoes or trek shoes
- a racket and a waterproof garment in case of rain or wind
- a jumper or a fleece and comfortable clothes
- sunglasses and hat, but also a wool cap
