You cannot visit the Val Soana in winter without having gone to Boschietto and Boschiettiera: high-altitude villages dominated by the elegant Tower pyramid Lavina from its 3308m. A walk with snowshoes to enter into the magic of forest along snow-covered trails. The two villages are situated on the edge of an alpine pasture, which is reached by a leisurely walk along the mule-track that crosses an old forest rich both in conifers and broadleaf. The departure may be from the small village of Forzo or from the close one Molino di Forzo; going up from Tressi, instead, you'll have the opportunity to notice a beautiful shrine placed in the rock. The route, with a soft climb, offers the chance to appreciate pillars and votive chapels excavated and painted into the rock, as well as ideas to capture the curious legendary items witch talks about the local franco-Provençal history. In the wide snow covered pastures walked to reach Boschiettiera and Boschietto, it's not difficult to sight camois and other alpine fauna. Way back from the outward path.

Not to be missed:
